Is it true than nobody can beat your first love?

That's kinda how I feel. It's been over a year after I've been separated from my first love, and even though I've found interest in a number of girls since then, it just doesn't feel the same as the first time. I feel like I've been a bit damaged since the first one, although stronger I guess. I'd like to think we'll all eventually find someone that will bring us just as much, if not more happiness than your first love though, even if it takes years.
