Etiquette-College Graduation Invitations?

Is it extremely tacky to hand deliever invitations to a college graduation? Normally, I would mail these, but im running out of time to do so (yes, i know that's my fault, but circumstances just didn't allow). I have exactly 3 weeks from today until my graduation. I will still mail invitations to family and friends, but I am wondering if I can just hand deliever these to church members tomorrow before the service with their names on the envelop? Thanks
