What do you make of this text (response) taken from the book Heart of Darkness (feminist POV please)?

Maybe my feminist lens is cracked, but I can't find anything in the passage that is inherently sexist. Not mentioning women here isn't the same as depicting them as substandard. I know "Heart of Darkness" has plenty of passages that *do* make women out to be useless, though, so maybe just focus on a different part?
