Are deposit slips the same as deposit envelops?

I wanna deposit a check at Navy Federal Credit Union ATM and I don't have any deposit slips but I have deposit envelopes so I can just use the enevelopes instead of the slips? If not I can try to make it before closing time to go inside , thanks in advance (:
